Exercise 1: Conversation exercise

Instruction:

  1. Jak długo trwało poszukiwanie pracy ostatnim razem? (How long did you have to look for a job last time?)
  2. Co jest ważne przy ubieganiu się o pracę? (What is important when applying?)
  3. Jak wygląda twoje CV? (How does your CV look like?)

Example phrases:

Szukam pracy przez trzy miesiące. Było to trochę trudne, ale znalazłem dobrą pracę.

I looked for a job for three months. It was a bit hard, but I found a good one.

Znalazłem pracę po miesiącu. Korzystałem z stron internetowych i wysłałem wiele CV.

I found a job after one month. I used websites and sent many CVs.

Bardzo ważne jest, aby wysłać swoje CV i list motywacyjny mailem.

It is very important to send your CV and Cover letter via email.

Dobrze jest powiedzieć, że masz już doświadczenie w stanowisku, o które się ubiegasz.

It is good to say that you already have experience in the job position you are applying for.

Moje CV jest proste i krótkie. Napisałem swoje umiejętności i ostatnią pracę.

My CV is simple and short. I wrote my skills and last job.

Moje CV zawiera moje zdjęcie, dane kontaktowe i historię zatrudnienia.

My CV has my photo, my contact details, and my work history.
