Exercise 1: Conversation exercise

Instruction:

  1. Porozmawiaj z agentem nieruchomości. Jakiego rodzaju zakwaterowanie chcesz wynająć? (Talk to the real estate agent. What kind of accomodation do you want to rent? )
  2. Nazwij i opisz rodzaje zakwaterowania na zdjęciach. Pomyśl o cenach. (Name and describe the types of accomodations in the pictures. Think about the prices. )

Example phrases:

Czy mogę wynająć willę na weekend? Jest bardzo duża i ma ładny basen.

Can I rent the villa for the weekend? It is very big with a nice pool.

Chcę wynająć pokój w tym hotelu na dwa miesiące.

I want to rent a room in this hotel for two months.

Myślę, że czynsz jest zbyt drogi.

I think the rent is too expensive.

Wolę wynająć współdzielony pokój, ponieważ jest tańszy.

I prefer to rent a shared room because it is cheaper.

Lubię mieszkać z większą liczbą osób. Chcę więc dzielić mieszkanie, ale chcę mieć własny pokój.

I like to live with more people. So I want to share an appartment but I want a single room.

Szukam domu do wynajęcia razem z moim partnerem.

I am looking for a house to rent together with my partner.

Exercise 4: Match a word

Instruction: Match the translations

Chcę wynająć mieszkanie w centrum miasta. (I want to rent a flat in the city centre.)
Czy mogę dziś zobaczyć to mieszkanie? (Can I see the flat today?)
W moim domu jest balkon i mały ogródek. (In my house, there is a balcony and a small garden.)
Agent powiedział, że czynsz wynosi tysiąc złotych. (The agent said that the rent is one thousand zlotys.)

Exercise 5: Cluster the words

Instruction: Przyporządkuj poniższe słowa do odpowiednich kategorii zgodnie z sytuacjami, w których się ich używa.
