Exercise 2: Match a word

Instruction: Match the translations

Potrzebuję talerze i sztućce na kolację z przyjaciółmi. (I need plates and cutlery for dinner with friends.)
Ustawiam szklanki i kubki na stole przed obiadem. (I set glasses and mugs on the table before lunch.)
Możesz podać serwetki i talerzyki? Chcę przyjąć gości. (Can you pass the napkins and small plates? I want to host guests.)
Na deser przygotowałem filiżanki do kawy i małe łyżeczki. (For dessert, I prepared coffee cups and small spoons.)

Exercise 3: Cluster the words

Instruction: Read the words and assign them to the appropriate category: Cutlery or Tableware to make it easier to remember their use when setting the table.

Instruction:

Dzisiaj wieczorem my (Zapraszać - Czas teraźniejszy) przyjaciół na kolację. Ja (Kłaść - Czas teraźniejszy) na stole talerze, sztućce i szklanki. Moja żona (Gotować - Czas teraźniejszy) pyszne jedzenie, a dzieci (Dekorować - Czas teraźniejszy) stół kwiatami. Kiedy goście (Przychodzić - Czas teraźniejszy) , wszyscy (Mówić - Czas teraźniejszy) „Dzień dobry” i zaczynamy świętować.

Tonight we invite (Invite - Present Tense) friends for dinner. I put (Put - Present Tense) plates, cutlery, and glasses on the table. My wife cooks (Cook - Present Tense) delicious food, and the children decorate (Decorate - Present Tense) the table with flowers. When the guests arrive (Arrive - Present Tense), we all say (Say - Present Tense) “Good day” and start celebrating.
